1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to School2Drive. By accessing or using our mobile application and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use School2Drive.

Important: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AppFactory ("School2Drive," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirements

To use School2Drive, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age to obtain a learner's permit in your jurisdiction)
• Have parental/guardian consent if you are under 18

2.2 Account Accuracy

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

3.1 Students

As a student, you agree to:

• Attend scheduled lessons or cancel with appropriate notice
• Communicate respectfully with instructors
• Follow your driving school's policies and cancellation terms
• Pay for booked lessons according to the agreed pricing
• Provide accurate information for lesson coordination
• Comply with all traffic laws and instructor directions during lessons

3.2 Instructors

As an instructor, you agree to:

• Maintain valid teaching credentials and insurance
• Provide accurate availability and timely updates
• Honor confirmed lesson bookings
• Provide professional, safe driving instruction
• Communicate respectfully with students
• Comply with all applicable driving instruction regulations
• Handle payments through the designated payment system (Stripe)
• Maintain appropriate licenses, permits, and insurance required by law

4. Services Provided

4.1 Platform Services

School2Drive provides:

• A platform to connect students with driving instructors
• Lesson booking and scheduling tools
• Progress tracking and communication features
• Payment processing integration (via Stripe)
• In-app messaging
• Notifications and reminders

4.2 What We Are NOT

School2Drive is:

• Not a driving school: We are a technology platform connecting students and instructors
• Not an employer: Instructors are independent contractors or employees of driving schools, not School2Drive employees
• Not responsible for lesson quality: Driving instruction is provided by third-party instructors
• Not a payment processor: Payments are processed by Stripe (we do not handle funds directly)

5. Bookings, Cancellations, and Payments

5.1 Lesson Bookings

• Bookings are confirmed when both parties accept the lesson
• Lesson details (time, location, duration) are set by the instructor/driving school
• You will receive confirmation and reminders via the app and/or email

5.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellation policies are set by the driving school, not School2Drive
• Students must cancel lessons according to the driving school's policy
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in fees (as determined by the driving school)
• Instructors must honor confirmed bookings or provide adequate notice

5.3 Payments

• Lesson pricing is set by the driving school/instructor
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• School2Drive may charge a platform fee (disclosed separately)
• Refund policies are determined by the driving school
• You are responsible for applicable taxes

6. User Conduct

6.1 Prohibited Activities

You may NOT:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use the Service for fraudulent purposes
• Interfere with the Service's operation or security
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the app
• Share your account credentials
• Use automated systems (bots, scripts) without permission
• Post inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to bypass payment systems

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 School2Drive IP

All content, features, and functionality of School2Drive (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design) are owned by School2Drive or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (messages, reviews, photos). By submitting content, you grant School2Drive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Privacy and Data

Your use of School2Drive is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Service "As Is"

SCHOOL2DRIVE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
• Accuracy or reliability of information

9.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCHOOL2DRIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, data, or opportunities
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid to School2Drive in the past 12 months

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

• Violate these Terms or our policies
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Harass or harm other users
• Fail to pay for services

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of School2Drive shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11.3 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at info@school2drive.com to attempt informal resolution.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms in the app
• Sending an email notification
• Displaying an in-app alert

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using School2Drive.

14. Special Terms for Instructors

14.1 Independent Contractor Status

Instructors are independent contractors, not employees of School2Drive. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining required licenses and certifications
• Providing your own vehicle and equipment
• Complying with all driving instruction regulations

14.2 Insurance Requirements

Instructors must maintain:

• Valid driving instructor insurance
• Commercial auto insurance (if applicable)
• Liability insurance as required by law
